Meet the Spud Tales: Journey to Olympus from Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!

blog-post

Last August, Daylight Studios transformed their bizarre simulator Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! to mobile version in addition to the desktop. The player’s mission is to create a successful weapon shop from the start, improve and expand it across a quirky land of potato people. You will provide your visitors with the weaponry they want for their different adventures. The game had devoted audience of fans on the desktop version, and users wondered about releasing a mobile version to play the game everywhere. And Daylight has announced that the DLC pack titled Spud Tales: Journey to Olympus is already available on both iOS and Android at a price of $4.99.

If you are interested what are Spud Tales about, then here is what Daylight said: "Spud Tales are missions that place you in various scenarios with different end goals, objectives, and difficulty levels. The aim of the game is to complete all the objectives of the specific scenario. Scenarios will be a lot more difficult to complete than an ordinary play-through, so be weary of your $tarch and managerial decisions!"

The Journey to Olympus’ plot is similar to the tale about Herclueless - the miserable son of Zeus. He tries to forge the weapon "worthy of a God" and get his ticket back into Olympus.

The update of Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! also supports full screen for iPhone X and iCloud integration for comfortable transportation your data between devices. If you remember, Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! had an unstable release on iOS while first arriving last year, as it was published separately for iPhone and iPad versions. The developers made iPhone version universal that is also supported by iPad, but in a strange letterboxed way, so it doesn’t match up to the true iPad version.

They solved all the problems, and now there is one official universal version that is supported by both iPhone and iPad devices. Besides, all the strange crashing was improved, and the initial problem of progress’ saving was also eliminated.

When you set up this game, it will be clear to you that the game is great. It’s worth all positive impressions the users spit out about it. And Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! became even better with releasing new iOS and Android versions.
